'Get Connected' during National Mental Health Month; today focuses on children's mental health awareness

The National Mental Health Association wants people to “Get Connected” in May, National Mental Health Month, which was created more than 50 years ago to raise awareness about mental health conditions and the importance of mental wellness for all. Social connectedness, according to the NMHA, is an essential component of maintaining and protecting mental health and wellness.
