Qualifications:

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with respect to internet retail marketing and the technology industry
Solid understanding of brand strategy and its relationship to the overall customer experience

Account Management: working with the Director of Ad Sales and VP of Business Development to implement campaigns online for new and existing clients, providing the client reporting on performance and optimizing campaigns as needed to improve results. This piece also requires attention on forecasting impressions per campaign and monitoring closely the progress to full delivery and maximizing CPM revenue.

Web Analytics Specialist

The Web Analytics Specialist will report to the Director of Content Strategy & Operations and will be directly responsible for leading Wetpaint’s web analytics strategy. Key to this role is the ability to provide data-driven insights about how users are behaving across the Wetpaint network, translate those insights into specific recommendations and persuade internal stake holders to take action. It’s about using data to help us inform what features we should be optimizing or working on at all. As the go-to team member for business intelligence, you will frequently work across the company and have direct interaction with all members of the executive team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Analytics leadership – ongoing thought leadership around web analytics best practices and ideas for improving Wetpaint’s analytics.

We are using Ruby on Rails as our development platform, so we'd love to hire somebody who has experience with Ruby (or a passion for learning it).
