Job Description:

Are you ready to have a key role in taking a company to the next level? The Marketing Analyst in this rapidly growing start-up will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to bring PlayFirst games to consumers around the world. As one of the top publishers in the casual games space, PlayFirst occupies a unique space in the market, working with both game developers as well as online and traditional channel partners. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Site Marketing. The Analyst will answer complex business questions through thoughtful and rigorous analysis with clear actionable communication of results, including creative utilization of metrics to ensure measurements match true business drivers. He or she is a focused individual with excellent quantitative analysis and qualitative research skills who can lead marketing insights across the company, is able to confidently and diplomatically interact with cross-functional partners, and drive data mining.

Responsibilities:

Provide actionable Web marketing analysis including: extensive customer profiling, segmentation, customer LTV analysis and campaign tracking.
Defines and manages appropriate analytic approach to campaign analysis, response rates to marketing efforts and sets up A/B tests
Uses data mining techniques such as Affinity, Decision Tree, segmentation and customer purchasing patterns.
Own and design standardized reporting, dashboards and analytic tools across marketing and cross functional teams.
Design and field online customer surveys and analyze results in support of product development, retention, pricing, and market segmentation.
Drive key qualitative research for PlayFirst, especially consumer focus groups.
Identify key metrics and produce and manage our dashboard metrics to monitor and help drive the business. Perform advanced ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Integrate 3rd party data with qualitative and quantitative techniques to enrich insights.
Prospect Targeting analysis for customer acquisition.
Customer segmentation analysis.
Retention and profitability analysis.

Requirements:

2-5 years of closely related experience.
Accurate - obsessive attention to detail, and extremely quality oriented.

Experience with research in the entertainment and/or consumer oriented technology.

Responsibilities:

Manage the lifecycle of QA testing from planning through completion for PlayFirst games.
