We are looking for a seasoned Java engineer to help us expand our semantic recognition technologies and web services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in the semantic technologies, skilled with algorithms and proficient in Java.

* B.S. or higher in CS, Math or engineering
* At least 5 years of experience in Java programming
* Deep understanding of basic data structures and algorithms
* Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
* Experience in distributed, large-scale systems
* Knowledge of sockets and threads
* Hands on experience with XML/XSL
* Understanding of REST-based Web Services

The following are a plus, but not required:

* Experience with Amazon Web Services
* Knowledge of semantic markups and ontologies
* Experience with semantic APIs like Calais
