POSITION SUMMARY
Work with the sales team to lead proof of concept demonstrations of the enterprise single sign-on solutions using Imprivata’s OneSign breakthrough technology and appliance. Travel to prospect locations throughout North America and work hand-in-hand with prospect personnel to ensure we understand the client’s key success criteria for the solution, design and demonstrate them to all key personnel in order to help the sales team close opportunities in an efficient and effective manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle: present a solution, proposal response, develop key success criteria for evaluation, lead technical evaluations, develop integration between Imprivata appliance and customer’s key applications for single sign-on, and trouble-shoot technical issues during software evaluations.
- Research, compose, and deliver responses to RFP’s.
- Help achieve strategic company objectives and territory revenue goals.
- Provide key enablement services to develop technical relationships with VARs and partners to assist them in selling and supporting Imprivata’s products and services.
- Provide trade show and demonstration support.
- Transition accounts post-sale to implementation consultant/project manager.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA; MBA a plus.
- 4+ years relevant sales engineer, consulting or system integration experience in the computer industry for another vendor or technology consultant or inside an MIS department at a large institution
- Extensive domestic travel – up to 75%
- Prior experience with enterprise-wide pre-sales evaluations/proof of concepts.
- Strong expertise in Directory Technology and a broad range of Applications including, but not limited to, application/software virtualization solutions, thin client architectures and advanced authentication modalities.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas a plus: enterprise computing, security, HIPPA, PKI, directory services, authentication mechanisms, encryption, identity management and PC software and utilities
- Excellent presentation skills and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
