We are seeking a sales planner to be responsible for contributing and supporting the sales teams in order to hit/exceed set revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in creating proposals & responding to RFPs
- Offer creative ideas & share new opportunities to sales team & clients/agencies
- Work with client & internal departments to collect creative for upcoming campaigns
- Format campaign reports from ad ops to an external facing document
- Create & Edit IOs
- Prospect in conjunction with sales team to help uncover potential advertisers
- Understand Sales Research Tools (Comscore, @Plan, Hitwise, AdRelevance)
- Update sales decks monthly with most recent month research, screen shots, etc
- Liaison between Sales/Clients & other internal departments (Finance, Ad Ops, Product, etc)
- Manage scheduling of outsourced graphic & video projects for custom components of ad campaigns
- Work with VP on sales opportunities, open inventory & revenue reporting.
- Assist in creating customized client presentations, collateral and mock ups
- Be well educated with excel, power point and the ad server
- Offer ideas on how to facilitate processes and increase revenue
- Be willing to add more responsibilities to this list at any given time

Location
This position is based at FunnyorDie’s headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Experience
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of media experience (online preferred) or has studied media in college or has had an internship with a new media company.
