Position:
The Jr. Technical Support Engineer position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual who has the ability to: Work well in a team environment, Learn quickly, Multitask, and good analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support, configure, re-configure, troubleshoot, and repair windows based tablet PCs
- Install, Support, Troubleshoot, and configure network devices (Wireless routers and switches)
- Remotely install and troubleshoot proprietary desktop application
- Inventory management
- Day to day phone support
Qualifications:
This is an entry level position that offers the potential for rapid growth of both skills and responsibilities for the right candidate. Individuals with a determination to be successful and a willingness to work hard are encouraged to respond.
Experience and Attitude:
- Professional in appearance, attitude and communications
- A balance between technical competence and the ability to communicate
- Self-starter, highly motivated
- Enjoys working independently
- Enjoys the challenges of a startup and working in a team environment
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Basic PC knowledge (hardware and software)
- Experience with Windows OS i.e. XP & vista, windows CE and wireless technology a plus
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel, possibly on short notice
- Experience working in a remote support environment
Education
A University or College Degree or Trade School with a strong focus on technology
