Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining all IT systems, including integrity and security of computer systems, end user hardware and software.
  • Implement policies and procedures to govern IT specific functions. Provide first line support for all software and hardware issues.
  • Responsible for managing outsourced IT provider. Maintenance of Windows and Unix Servers.
  • Knowledge guru for Help Desk and user’s applications.
  • Manage corporate software licenses. Maintain critical systems backup and restore process.
  • Job includes “On Call” support.

Qualifications:

  • 3 Years IT support experience.
  • Experience with end user support.
  • Service oriented attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
  • Experience managing Windows Servers, Active directory, Exchange and Unix administration.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 2003/7.
  • Experienced with new desktopslaptops installation (Windows XP, Vista, OS X).
  • Understanding of medium size IT business infrastructures.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft certifications.
  • Symantec enterprise server.
  • Symantec backup exec.
  • CISCO firewall knowledge.
  • Experience with Confluence, Bugzilla and SVN a plus.
  • LDAP (using active directory).
