Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining all IT systems, including integrity and security of computer systems, end user hardware and software.
- Implement policies and procedures to govern IT specific functions. Provide first line support for all software and hardware issues.
- Responsible for managing outsourced IT provider. Maintenance of Windows and Unix Servers.
- Knowledge guru for Help Desk and user’s applications.
- Manage corporate software licenses. Maintain critical systems backup and restore process.
- Job includes “On Call” support.
Qualifications:
- 3 Years IT support experience.
- Experience with end user support.
- Service oriented attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
- Experience managing Windows Servers, Active directory, Exchange and Unix administration.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 2003/7.
- Experienced with new desktopslaptops installation (Windows XP, Vista, OS X).
- Understanding of medium size IT business infrastructures.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications.
- Symantec enterprise server.
- Symantec backup exec.
- CISCO firewall knowledge.
- Experience with Confluence, Bugzilla and SVN a plus.
- LDAP (using active directory).
