Job posting at The QA Engineer position is a challenging and rewarding role within a rapidly growing, venture-backed startup at the intersection of the online video advertising and media industries. The ideal candidate would be a QA professional comfortable in an informal, fast-paced, structured environment working closely with developers and product managers to ensure the functionality of our products. A strong web testing background is important, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail in defect and test case composition.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze project requirements to produce, execute and report on manual test scripts
- Recommend process improvements / ideas to the team
- Review all requirements and specifications documentation for clarity, completeness and testability
- Demonstrate initiative and creativity
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Minimum 2 years of web testing experience
- Extensive background writing test plans and test cases
- Must be hands on and comfortable troubleshooting
- Comfortable analyzing, creating, manipulating XML
- Test experience with Streaming Media/PHP/Flash
- Experience with the Agile development model
- Ability to create, manipulate and retrieve test data via SQL
- Test automation experience
- Industry knowledge of online advertising
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
